Why not just run xsetup.sh and change your settings when you move the drive between computers?

xsetup.sh won´t work in this case. Libretto 100/110 is not using any standard screen resolution. You MUST use vga=... in order to get 800x480. Otherwise you will only have 640x480 or 800x600  :(

Glad to see another Libretto user here. Unfortunately I got frustrated and since I was going to sell it anyhow I just loaded w98 onto it since no one much knows or refuses to know about linux.

Win98 on  the L100 was the main reason for me to get in closer contact with Linux  :D
Win98 is much worse in case of battery runtime and speed!

After having to remove a BIOS password, partitioning and reformatting multiple times until I was happy, here she is...500MB home directory, 96MB swap, and 90MB for DOS (Gotta have doom somewhere), and 129MB raw for hibernation...I present to you, in all it's glory, the Libretto 50CT running DSL 3.4 with authority:

Yeah, it's on the internet. It's using a Sony Vaio PCWA-C150 (Not the S version, this is plain one) and it works great with dillo. Firefox takes around 45 seconds just to load. With the small computer, compact wifi card, and a good battery along with 2 new batteries on the way, this baby is the ultimate in portability!

Just to mention there are numerous Doom ports to Linux ;)
And as you have the original datafiles, you can play full Doom legally
