ifconfig -a shows only local loopback.
The 'Link' and the '10/100' lights on the card dongle are on.

This is an older laptop that runs DSL 0.82 fine. axnet_cs is loaded by 0.82 and the card is properly configured. Something has happened between 0.82 and 2.1 RC2.

Is your driver possibly in the additional modules package that's in the current directory of the downloads?

RC3 is not out yet. RSN.
I will post all the images when its ready:
isolinux, syslinux, embedded (Qemu), vmx (VMWare ready).
