It booted fine and i dled the bin file i needed with firefox. firefox said it was 'on the desktop' but theres no files on any desktops and i definately don't know how to browse anywhere.

i have to be missing something here...

heh, that depends on where firefox says is its "Desktop" directory then... but maybe this link http://damnsmalllinux.org/cgi-bin....t=14765 will help.

You could also use save as, or change the default directory under preferences.
