good point on the swap thing. ;)
also a good point on samba. (note to self: "DUH!")

as for why I need bridged networking...because the dhcp is not an option that works worth a darn in my setup, and assigning a proper lan ip also fails.

All i'm trying to accomplish here is avoiding the need to use a resource hog like vmware, and the option of dual-booting...well....sux. ;)
