A while ago, I installed DSL on my sister's computer, and it's been working fine for the most part, except for some memory problems (and it's a VERY old computer, so that's kind of expected, right?). But yesterday, Sam (my sister) called me, and starts yelling at me, "Libby, why'd you have to go and put Linux on my computer? I want Windows 95 back!!!! You broke my computer!" Eventually she calmed down and told me what had happened, and I promised her I'd ask here and call her back once she got out of school and tell her what to do.
This is the error message she got when she booted up:
Hostname 2.08 giving up xinit: connection refused (err no 111): unable to connect to xserver xinit: no such process (err no 3): server error
What should Sam do? She's only 13 and knows even less about Linux than I do. Is there an easy way to fix it?
