hi i am sorry to bother people with this but it says on the main page
that /var/lib/dpkg.tgz is downloadable - yet i cannot locate it.

also yes i used search for "/var/lib/dpkg" in the forum search "all forums" and it came up with no topics - otherwise i would not, obviously, be posting this query here!

v. pleased to see DSL exists because i seem to be collecting people's Pentium 120s-160s with only 32mb RAM.

The easiest way is to click thru your menu.
Choose Apps > Toola > Enable Apt

or

Look in the repository under "system" for the
dsl-dpkg.dsl extension.

Searching the forums for the keyword " dpkg " or " apt "
shows several threads..
