hello

i have a dell latitude xpi cd 166 mhz 48 ram hd 5gb
I have DSL 0.8.0 in live cd . I can't connect to the internet,( I have a small network with a router in ethernet, my DSL laptop has a dock replicator 3com with ethernet.
when i run dsl 0.80 i see a message about eth0 but when i try to connect to internet or to configure with dhcp panel nothing...

does anyone can help me ?

does it have a pcmcia slot? if so, go to walmart and pick up a Linksys ethernet card for $30 US.

might be under the name "Networking for Everyone" or something like that, but it's still Linksys.

just make sure it's old pcmcia, and not new cardbus.

look for the gold contact at the plug end. if it has that, its a cardbus.
