I've had DSL for a few months and it's up and running just fine on my old Dell Inspiron, but I think it's time for me to move on and try other new things.
I'm trying to install FreeDOS to the hard disk of my DSL laptop. FreeDOS partitioned and formatted the drive, and successfully copied the FreeDOS files to the new primary bootable Fat32 partition. However, I can't seem to change the boot sector of my hard disk! GRUB won't go away! When I start the computer without the FreeDOS Live CD, it goes in to GRUB (DSL is removed but GRUB remains).
Any tips on how to fully uninstall DSL and GRUB? Thanks in advance.
