Seems I've managed to edit /etc/resolv.conf to reflect what I need, but I still can't connect. If I run pppoeconfig, the entire config seems to run fine, but when I run pon dsl-provider (as the config indicates), i get a message to the effect that /etc/ppp/peers/dsl-provider doesn't exist (which is the file that the pppoeconfig is supposed to have written/modified). If I try to just run pon, it indicates troubles with /etc/ppp/peers/provider. I'm getting frustrated. I'd write the damned file myself, if I had a clue what to put in it, but I don't. I suppose that if someone posted theirs, as an example, mine would have to be completely different anyway. I'm not exactly an expert, either. I've been using Red Hat at home for two years...hardly qualifies me as a guru...
