I installed DSL to an old K6/2-450. Works great! I just have one question. I used MyDSL and installed the XMMS Skins. A few work, but many don't. I have run into this before in another distro. The "zip" files aren't properly recognized, but the "tar.gz" files work as expected. This would be easy to fix, but I can't find the skins files. In most distros they are located in /usr/shares/xmms/Skins. But when I check DSL, this folder doesn't exist. The files are somewhere because XMMS Skin Chooser gives me a nice list, but for the life of me I can't figure out where they are.
Anybody got any ideas where I can find them so I can unzip them and make them available to Skins Chooser?  Thanks in advance.

Philter-

Skins are probably going to /home/dsl/.xmms,
you may need the gnu-utils package loaded first
to handle the zippy files otherwise you're left
with the busybox functions.

Much appreciated!!

adraker is correct..

If you ditch the default busybox for the true gnu-utils.dsl,
the "zip" issue disappears..

bad, bad busybox..

:)

Yes, no need to turn zipped skins into
.tar.gz or anything....

Upon the desktop appearing, I like to open and close
xmms before doing anything with it.
Its always good to have gnu-utils and dsl-dpkg
autoloading, or installed to HD installation.

Then you know you've got GNU tar and zip for real.
Probably a lot of other things I haven't noticed yet
too.
Oh, yeah.. ke4nt got some important libraries in there
as well.

Enjoy KE4NT brand skins!
More skins for your Buck!

What a terrible pun.
