/dev/cdrom
/dev/sdc0
/dev/sdc1
for audio CD devices. |
Thanks for the input. Let me try it here. Since I had DSL embedded on my HD, I would boot up DSL normally. Then I should run xterminal, by typing in
dsl toram
follow by..
/dev/cdrom
/dev/sdc0
/dev/sdc1
for audio CD devices.
I hope Im getting this right. Sorry for such naive question, I'm really new to Linux and I would love to master the programe eventually. Thank you all..
BTW I've read something about mounting devices...is that one of the reasons? |
Its a no go for me last nite. what does it mean boot up DSL by using the "dsl toram" command. Do I type in the command before, or after boot up my DSL on xterminal?
