so. While I wait for Purdue to get a copy of Windows Vista that I can buy for far cheaper than retail (I know, speaking of windows is paramount to consorting with the devil) I will be having some fun with DSL. I have never installed it before but I have a computer I'm itching to mess around with and no OS. I also have about 7 hard drives that I haven't used in ages. I'm going to (hopefully) figure out how to install DSL straight to my HD (instructions that I've found seem clear enough).
My question is as follows: I downloaded Gnu iPod Utilities 0.94 gnupod.dsl and GRip CD player and ripper 3.0.0.0-1 grip-3.0.0.dsl (both found here).
Will these allow me to rip files off of my CDs and put them into my ipod (a shuffle)? Or am I going to need to do something more creative? Thanks!
