Boot options work this way:
Insert DSL LiveCD or DSL boot floppy.
Turn on computer and wait for boot prompt to appear under the giant DSL logo.
Type:
knoppix toram enhance
(and then press the 'enter' key)
to get an "Enhanced" desktop DSL that loads entirely into ramdisk. The 'toram' option has been around for a while. I think that the 'enhance' option was only recently added in version 0.6 of DSL.
If you press the F2 key, it will give you some more boot option choices. On versions before 0.6, then "F2" menu included some options that only work with Knoppix livecd and not all of them worked with DSL.
In version 0.6, the "F2" menu no longer lists the bad boot options.
