Perhaps the builder of that extension can help.
Perhaps a font issue? Only guessing by the appearance.

The .info file is only available and displayed during the download process. I currently delete it when the choice to download or cancel is selected.

Are you suggesting to also save the .info file? Then for each downloaded extension you get three files.

Seems OK to me, it did run without errors and updated /dev/mouse
Be sure to run as root.

Could be many things. Hopefully you are not trying to backup extensions or have data greater than 250. Try running from shell and watch for errors.

Make sure you have set the backup device, look in

/opt/.backup_device

Then manually run

# filetool.sh backup
