Quote (desnotes @ Mar. 10 2006,15:02) | Once a background is picked, once cannot seem to go back to the new background. Is there a way to go back to the default? |
If you press the "Install" button in the wallpaper tool, the background is added to your .fluxbox/init file. The result is that no matter what style you choose, the background will remain the same (rootcommand in init overrides rootcommand in a style). If you press the "OK" button the background is set but it is not written to init, so if you change the style your background will also change (if the style sets a background).
If you have written the change to init and decide you don't want it, look for the "RootCommand" line in /home/dsl/.fluxbox/init, and remove the command (do NOT remove the "RootCommand" text).
