Note for vlc, was compiled with ncurses module, which might be a good thing for us CommandLine Commandos :}

vlc.uci
i loaded the required extensions;
gtk2-core.unc
libwxgtk2.uci
mm-base.uci

but i still get this error:
vlc: error while loading shared libraries: libgtk-x11-2.0.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

however added gtk2+-2.10.9.dsl works o.k
