Hikarunix has been around for a while, and is a really good way to get into Go/Baduk. It's filled with non-OSS stuff, not that there's anything wrong with that, and runs as root by default (at least when you open an xterm), which I do feel is wrong, but anyway.
Yahoo! Games' Go is a lot easier on the old bandwidth, and just as fun, but if you need/want all the cool client/server Go stuff, Hikarunix is very cool.
And the fact that it gets its name from the excellent series Hukaru No Go doesn't hurt either.
I really gotta finish buying that series on dvd.. >_<
