Damnit, whatkind can of ISP makes an internet connection run through the usb? The very idea is flawed! First off you have to type all this shit if you want it to work on linux, second if you have a windows 98 comp it will disconnect you alot, and last but oh so not least the ps2 netword adapter will NOT accept a usb connection.
I spent $40 and waited like a week for it to get here. Im excited, I mean really excited as im a dedicated gamer. Finally it gets here, I hook the adapter in set everything up and even have to clean the cd. Once I get the cd up its EXTREMLY easy to understand. I set everything up with eas and I finally go to test connection
Connection fails, Well I expected this as I was trying to run it without the usb filter because the adapter dosn't have a usb port. However thjere is a usb por in the front of the ps2 so I went to the FAQ to find out what to do. To my HORROR I found that other people have had the same problem. What was sony's response? USB CONNECTIONS WILL NOT WORK WITH THE ADAPTER!
I know what your thinking, why not be angry at sony? Well this is the first time sony has EVER let me down. Besides there are very few usb net connections in the first place. Im placing the blame on bellsouth. Do yourself a favor, avoid the 2Wire connection
