hi

i'm newbie to linux and dsl. i was wondering do i need to install apache, php and mysql or are they installed already. i did a hd install. can i get them with apt-get? what do i need to install exactly?

They are not installed.

Theoretically, you can grab them with apt, but I've never heard of anyone having any success, especially with apache.

You might try IBLS. It's based on DSL, and has all the things you want.

You may also want to check out Lamppix (also based on DSL). It is a complete web server.

well, i installed xampp, and it's working fine now, i think.

now i have problems with vncserver. it won't work. does anyone know a good vnc server software witch is easy to set up?
