I booted up DSL the other day for the first time and really liked what I saw. I however, encountered a few problems. I don't know if it was my hardware or what, but when I tried to open a shell or a program it would take like 20 or 30 seconds before anything appeared on the screen. Then, once the window appeared it took another 10 seconds to show a prompt. I have a Pentium 175 mhz processor, and like 64mb of ram. I thought that it would run better than this on it. Also, the computer doesn't recognize my harddrive at all, so I can't do a HD install. Does anyone know what the problem might be? Also, if my computer sits for a while without being used the screen will go blank (kind of like power saving mode or screen saver or something) but it never comes out of this and I end up having to reboot and start over. Does anyone out there have any ideas of how to fix this? Thanks
