Is there a way to make a cd-rw bootable? As this would save me so many cdrs.

I have Ahead Nero software under Winblows and Eroaster, K3B under Mandrake.

Cheers in advance for any help.

I use Easy CD Creator to burn the DSL ISO image to a CD-RW, and it boots fine. :) Make sure you close the session?

I use nero to write to CD-RW's for DSL and all the million other distros I download. What I do is tell nero to erase the re-writable, then burn the ISO, and it works fine.
Execpt it seems to run a little bit slower on a RW. Maybe It's just my crappy lapptop ???

Cheers both for your comments!

I'm now typing to you via my first DSL bootable CD-RW :)

Just need to get the printers going and if it works stick the latest DSL on my laptop!

I use Nero 5, and K3b to write cdrw's, and for the most part they work well. The only problem that I have had is, that the cdrw's that I am using, (TDK) sometimes wont boot in some of my older hardware, but regular cdr's will, and being as that is where I use DSL most of the time I end up burning the new ISO's on cdr's.
