How can I save to my floppy drive when I use the word processor, Tom? (I think it was.)

Method 1
First insert disk into floppy disk drive
Run Mount Tool, press above button until see fd0 and press under button until see "umount" change to "mount" (under button color also will change from red to green)
Now, in word processor do File -> Save As
Next browse until /floppy folder and copy there is your file.

Method 2
Using Emelfm i can mount floppy disk to /floppy folder (browse to floppy, rightclick over /floppy folder and click "mount") and copy your file from hard disk to /floppy folder

Note: Afterward "Mounting", write and read from /floppy folder in hard disk, is equivalent to write or read from floppy disk drive. That is the technical to access to drives used by Linux. If you not mount drive then any program have access to that drive.

Was this help?
