I installed the abiword.dsl and want to get the spell check working properly.

Looking through the forum I saw a post where another user got it working using apt-get aspell and apt-get libenchant1

I had no problem using apt-get for aspell. but when it came to apt-get for libenchant1 I got a message which stated that the file could not be found.

Can anyone help me out with this?

Depends on which repository you are using... try
apt-cache search libenchant
to list possible ones.

That didn't work for me. What did work was:

"http://packages.debian.org/libenchant1"
