fresh hd install of dsl, tried 3-4 mirrors to get apt, all return md5 checksum errors. all i want is dpkg and synaptic WORKING so I can update/upgrade and install other packages.

i've tried mydsl, and every time i try to grab a package from the list i get a pop-up window saying "Non-DSL user error!"

please help, this is driving me NUTS.

myDSL can only be used under the 'dsl' user by default.

If you have problems getting the apt dsl package, you can use wget -c [url] for resuming, or firefox.
