I got 3 pcs in a lan network and another pc running dsl. I want to transfer files through the lan, between the dsl pc and the windows pcs.
How do i share the lan?

What particular part doesn't work - the samba extension itself or using the samba extension to connect to Windows machines?

The samba extension doesnt work. It just doesnt start.

Maybe you could download the samba extension, open a terminal window, enter the following and then cut & paste any error messages you get in this post:
Code Sample
mydsl-load /path-to-file/samba.dsl [or samba.unc]
Note that you should see a samba icon on the desktop if the extension loads correctly.

If the other machines have shared drives you should be able to double-click on them to bring up a username and password dialog to "mount" the shares.

The other pcs have shared resources. I click on them but nothing happens.
