Greetings!

I'm hoping someone can tell me what I need to put in ".menu.lst" to make it backup\restore loaded DSL extensions. Thanks in advance for any help.

I assume you mean for grub... see the wiki page on cheatcodes, esp. the mydsl= entry

If you just use 1 partition, you can just make /mydsl and place them in there and you won't have to modify your bootloader to point it in another location.
