Yes it is...but now comes the more difficult part ;) you have to check wheather you've got an BIOS that supports USB booting. If you've got, all is fine, if not, I can't help...only maybe through a BIOS update maybe ^^ There are 2 ways I know how to manage it:

1.You download the DSL iso and extract it (with WINRar or something like that) to your USB-pendrive. Than you get Syslinux. You cann google up how to use Syslinux, I don't remember it anymore thatgood. It was something like: You copy everything from the folder ISOlinux to the main folder of the USB and than you rename isolinux.cfg to syslinux.cfg and modifi it (you just delete some lines - as I already told, i don't remember exactly). And than you put USBbooting in you BIOS active and on top of eveything else and it should work.

2. You start DSL from CD and chose install to USB pendrive. And Than the thing with the BIOS.

I wish you luck ;)

For a frugal install, it's 50mb, for a HD install, it's about 200mb.. + some space for formatting, the partition will need some mb's more
