Sorry that it seems so simple, but could someone tell me the easiest way to backup my DSL-N settings so when i reboot i don't loose everything. The Help didn't really tell me HOW to it up. only what to change to backup and load..Please Help! Posted by adammw111 on Jan. 28 2007,05:34
I think i may have figured it out....Under control panel > backup/restore i put in sda5 (sda is my usb drive and i have a few partitions on it. usually it would be sda1) AND then i clicked backup. When shutting down, it said writing backup to /dev/sda5 and on startup it said loading backup from /dev/sda5. Can someone reply to say this is the way to do it. (i'm not that sure) Thanks! Yes, that is the way to do it.
