building gcc

Hi there, new to linux and have DSL 3.0.1 installed to hd. I'm trying to build gcc so I can build a dvd player but can't build gcc cause I have no cc compiler. Looking for a cc compiler. Anyone have any suggestions?

heh,

gcc is available in mydsl.

and fyi, gcc is valid as cc.

Thanks for the info. Any info on .dsl files anywhere?
