Hi There,
Can anyone help me with this problem?, I want to configure my mouse so that it will start in the linux console command line without going into Xwindows. I don't have Xwindows setup on this box. I just want to have my mouse working so I can install some online games.
Any helps would be appreciated. !!
thanks so much

Download and install these mydsl extensions:

dsl-dpkg
gnu-utils

then type:

apt-get update
apt-get gpm

and search google for "man gpm" to learn how to use it.

Thanks much.  :;):

You can edit your bootloader (LILO, Grub, etc) to add boot options.
With Grub it is done in menu.lst.  In LILO i think it's lilo.conf
