Download the 5way and take a peek at the readme.

The readme in the 5-way really needs to be updated.

mkdosfs is not correct. (command not found)
the syslinux command also does not work.

We need to add more details to this doc.

-Thanks

If you wish to run dsl-embedded within windows then the easiest way is to download 'dsl-embedded-1.0rc2.zip' which is 50M -- you then unzip inside an empty folder/directory. The resulting folder is about 110M. Put the folder on the usb drive and to use simply click twice on 'dsl-windows' inside the folder -- and that's it.

Is it possible just to uncronpress the zip with the embebd version and run it from a folder instead of an usb key?

Sure it's possible to copy it to the workstation.  But I still want to run it in memory.  The point of having it on a USB stick is to be portable between workstations.  It would be very convenient to be able to plug it in, run it, and take it with me.  It would just run so much faster if it didn't have to go through the USB bus.
