New to QemuForum: DSL Embedded Topic: New to Qemu started by: humpty Posted by humpty on Aug. 15 2006,11:42
Hi, I just tried out embedded today for the first time at the office.I believe a a 60 mb 'harddisk' file was created in the qemu directory, which I guess is the virtual hdb ? My question: Is it possible to access this file at home when I'm not using qemu, i.e normal frugal boot? Posted by roberts on Aug. 15 2006,15:02
Yes.You need to use the boot option boot: dsl qemu This will give you a "device" /dev/harddisk You can also use the boot options boot: dsl qemu restore=harddisk This will allow you to share the same virtual drive between DSL Qemu and DSL native. Posted by humpty on Aug. 16 2006,01:38
