Internet Debian Installation

Off-DSL, so I thought it should go here!

I want to do an internet of debian over the internet, and I understand that I need to download a single CD image, and boot that. But please could somebody tell me where to get the image, and what the installation process might consist of. Also, will I need some particular ports open?

Any help much appreciated!
