SMC 2632W Version 3 Wireless Cardbus Card
Under RedHat 7.2, the card works on my TP 600e using the pcmf502rd module. I have found the atmelwlandrivers.dsl, and it installs that module, but the card doesn't bind to the module.
Under /etc/pcmcia, I deleted the links for config & wlan-ng.conf and copied the actual files to /etc/pcmcia. I was then able to edit both files and save them. I used cardctl reset to try to get the card recognized, but tail -f /var/log/messages still reports "unrecognized card". When I enter cardctl ident, my card is identified correctly. I can manually modprobe the module, and it loads, but still no success with iwconfig.
UPDATE: I had to kill the process for cardmgr then execute cardmgr from the command line. It works.
