ok, i read it, and i found out how to encode the files with lame, but i cant figure out how to change the bit rate. the file i want to convert needs to be converted to 24 bit sound file.

I hope this is a voice track, because 24kbits/sec is extremely crappy for anything else =o)

Or maybe you didn't mean bitrate?
