Ok so like the title stats... I would like to put the DSL iso image on a CF card which is attached to my computer via flash-to-IDE adaptor. The computer will boot of the CF card as if it is a HDD. Due to the long life of CF cards under constant use I would like it to be read only. Is that an option when doing a HDD install from the CD? When doing a HDD install does DSL become uncompressed? I would like to keep costs down so if I could fit it on a 64meg card that would be grand.
So to recap... I want to make a CF card think it is the DSL CD. Read only and just as small as the CD.
Any help?
