I've read most of the pages (you have to go back evry time, the only link is the donation, clever, eh?).
My two cents: you can't make profilt only from software (Red Hat and Mandriva are the exceptions).
You need to deal with hardware.
People want hardware, then they worry about the software.
If one finds a hardware platform to sell that software, then the sell the hardware + the software (Apple, anyone?).
