Hi to DSL community, first, sorry for my poor English. I'll try to make u understand me ^_^
I was so excited when I listened about having a complete system on my 128 MB USB pendrive, that now is impossible for me to renounce to this! Let's say u my questions.
I downloaded: - bootusb-0.8.img - dsl-0.9.0.1.iso - winImage - IsoBuster
Then, I've done what is explained here in the forums: - format USB drive in FAT (done with normal format task of win2K) - write image of bootusb-etc-etc.img into USB drive with winImage - open ISO file with IsoBuster and extract KNOPPIX folder directly into USB drive - (also) write a CD with downloaded ISO file.
Rebooted the machine, changed boot sequence in BIOS and wait for the miracle. DSL starts loading ( so the motherboard is well configured and the bootusb image was successfully written...I think!), checks for DSL image in sda1, sda2, sda3, etc. and says that the DSL filesystem don't found, or something similar. I think I made some mistakes in copying KNOPPIX compressed filesystem file, or the position of it.
The directory listing is: boot.msg f2 f3 german.kbd ldlinux.sys linux24 logo.16 minirt24.gz syslinux.cfg KNOPPIX [dir] |_ KNOPPIX I hope someone can help me. Thanks ;)
