i found the problem at this time only in firefox, since i have here a document loaded with a umlaut in the html title tag (ä)... the site renders ok, i can type in german umlauts and the @ sign but the titlebar of firefox couldnt display them...
is this a problem with gtk2, firefox (its firefox 1.5.0.7 from mozilla.org) or the xserver ?
btw: in /opt/bootlocal.sh the "de-latin1-nodeadkeys" is loaded...
