I have to use a resolution less than 1024x768 in my old pentium 133 mhz with my 4.8 DSL version. My abs app does fill more than total screen area making that app useless and I am not able to find the solution to that problem.

Try using this from a shell...
"abs -geom 640x480"

Or whatever geometry you would like to use.
I tried 320x200, and it worked as well..

When you get it set how you like, edit
your .fluxbox/menu list to reflect your changes.

If running from LiveCD, your backup should save your settings.
The .fluxbox directory should already be in your filetool.lst
