DSL Ideas and Suggestions :: qtparted

I have found dsl to be the best way to use qtparted for setting up dual boot machines. Could qtparted be included in the base package?

I don't know for sure, but i'm pretty confident that the answer is "no". The "qt" in the filename implies that the program is Qt based. Any Qt application requires Qt libs installed, which is much too big for a "damn small" distribution. GUI applications in DSL use mostly X or Gtk1 widgets, with an increasing number using Fltk.

Parted also exists as just a console app, and this is far more likely to be added to base...
