DSL Ideas and Suggestions :: Centrino Wireless Driver

I would like to request for IPW2100 driver for centrino wireless chipset to be included in the next release.

I have reverted to Knoppix 3.4 version 2004-05-10, kernel 2.4.26. It has everything I need but whole lot more I dont need.

Be warned that IPW2100 is unstable and appears to me that subsequent release of knoppix has buggy wireless. I know its not going to be easy to include it in DSL

well this driver looks to be VERY much still in a beta stage. the latest version is 0.51 and from what i've read on the site, it looks to be horribly buggy.

But it DOES look promising! If they work out the kinks, i can finally ditch windoZzz on my laptop. YAY!!!
