DSL Ideas and Suggestions :: Damn small linux on AMD geode GX533 mini pc

Hello,

I have put DSL on a USB stick and have tried it on a mini pc that has a AMD Geode GX533 processor. OS didn't load. The manufacturer has a patch for 2.6.11.4 kernel (patch location). My knowledge about kernels is little, but my guess is that this patch doesn't work for DSL (kernel 2.4?). I also figured that Kconfig is needed and DSL doesn't have that.

Does anyone have an idea for me how to proceed with this?

Forgot to mention, DSL runs beatifully on my laptop (athlon-xp-M 2800), booting from the usb stick.
