DSL Ideas and Suggestions :: DSL and NTFS partition

Can DSL write and NFTS partition (NT,2000,XP) without damaging the partition?
If not, can it use Captive program to write an NFTS partition?

As far as I know, NTFS can only be mounted for reading in Linux 2.4 kernel (used by DSL 1.1).

It's probably the hundredth time this has been asked before.
When the hell will captive-NTFS be in the repository?
