DSL Ideas and Suggestions :: Background for New Theme



Here's a background I'm working on for a new "beach" theme...
It's a laptop screen inside a laptop screen...  800x600
What do you think of this?
What would you change ?

Nice, as long as it doesn't become the default =o)  (I like the 2.2k background).
I'm wondering if there may be legal issues with the corona thing....

If there was something I would change, it'd be the angle of the laptop....it may look a bit more realistic if there was a slight perspective shift as if it were facing upward just a teeny bit instead of straight forward.  It wouldn't even have to be a noticeable angle....just enough so it doesn't look like a screenshot.  Those tiny details can sometimes make the biggest difference.

nice. but I personally think that icons in the background of the screen should not appear, not to mess up things: I get confused between "real" icons and "painted" ones..
but that's just me..

Nice................ the webbed feet are a good idea, I dont think we can have enough themes, if there are loads in the repository maybe  we could then strip some from the base install that should lose a little weight too  maybe just leave simple as the default background and remove the others they could always be turnd to theme.tar.gz......
depends if the saving is worth the effort....
