DSL Ideas and Suggestions :: Ndiswrapper on DSL

Well, i got a friend to download the appropriate knoppix distro for me... compiled it all after some messing about with remounting pieces of knoppix on my HD...

made 2 packages, had to dpkg --extract them onto my DSL intallation... and they work fine except for they can't load the drivers, "failed to allocate DMA coherent memory. Windows driver requested 204800 bytes of un-cached memory"

but that might be my drivers or the very small amount of RAM I have on the laptop. You guys want the packages anyways? I have nowhere to upload them for now, i'll email them to anyone who can post them.

Sent em off... good luck. Well, actually, if they won't load for you either, that's good for me... because it means i screwed up the compile, and it could still work on my machine.

the email bounced back... I can't get the modules to load, anyways. Any other interested parties want to give it a shot?
