DSL Ideas and Suggestions :: .dsl for updates

I made this suggestion in the Feather forum and thought I would mention here also.

Has anyone thought about handling DSL updates/bug fixes via .dsl extensions? This might be a good way to keep everyone "current" with the latest changes without having to download another iso. This would allow for small downloads for the dialup people. Just add the update file to your iso or HD install.

This would allow the developers to concentrate on the next major release and could possibly allow a quick fix to known problems like the HD install issue with .7.2. That issue may not have been able to be fixed in this manner....but you get the idea.
