has anyone gotten limewire to work with dsl? i tried... and failed everytime thanks

Requires Java says the info file.

No, sorry, just pointing out the Java bit.
I tried with the Java.uci and Limewire.dsl,
(is this right?)
but I have never had anything at all to do with Java,
and of course Limewire says it can't find it.

I don't even know step one about Java , so that's
where I stopped (after searching the web for something
like "Java Basics for the Profoundly Ignorant").
I tried installing Mutella .debs, but can't get libreadline
to install.
Thats about as far as I've gotten with it.
Sure would welcome a little "Howto" on the Java/Limewire thing...
