DSL Ideas and Suggestions :: new start up wallpaper



No offense meant, but if it isn't mostly black, it has no place on my desktop....I absolutely hate the color blue on a computer screen (maybe it's a throwback from my BSOD days).

The graphics are nice, though...mostly clean and easy on the eyes.

black is easier on the eyes and most of all, it works well with poor screen that are usually associated with poor pc; DSL is the best distro for poor pc so...
Agreed, but that doesn't prevent anyone from making it fancy.
I for one support this move, whether I like this or not.
Check out the blue 'FlatED' theme on the fluxbox website which shows a very small Tux with drinking straw draining a juice carton not much smaller than himself.  Carton, naturally, is branded 'Windows sucks'.  This looks great on my ancient 12.5" laptop TFT at 800x600 res.
