DSL Ideas and Suggestions :: Captive NTFS?

How hard would it be to get the new "Captive NTFS" functionality of knoppix? Maybe as a .dsl??

From what I can tell, the "install" script calls a .tar.bz2 from / to install it.

Or in english?

unbz2 the root.tar.bz2 and gzip it. You now have an unsafe captive-ntfs DSL extension.

If you want to get it safe, that's your mission.
